Evaluating Reputation of Pool Cage Companies

A company’s reputation is paramount when deciding on who will handle your pool enclosure project. Before deciding on a pool enclosure company, research customer service ratings and review their history of successful projects.

To evaluate their reputation, start by checking out online reviews from past customers or ask around in your community for recommendations. It might also help if they’ve been in business for many years as this often speaks volumes about their expertise and trustworthiness.

Verifying Licensing and Insurance

The next step is ensuring that any potential companies have all necessary licensing and insurance coverage in place. This includes being fully insured for liability and worker’s compensation which protects both parties during the construction process.

One such reputable option is ScreenIT®, operating across multiple counties in Florida including Charlotte County, Collier County, Lee County, Manatee County, Monroe County and Sarasota County; they boast an impressive A+ rating from Better Business Bureau.

Experience Matters.

An experienced Pool Cage Builder team can deliver better results since they understand various nuances associated with different screen types used in constructing pool cages. More than just experience though – passion plays a significant role too. For instance, our own crew at ScreenIT® has been delivering exceptional quality workmanship over 14 long years – something we take immense pride in.

Compliance with Building Codes

Choosing a Pool Cage Builder that strictly follows local building codes is crucial. Strict adherence to local building regulations isn’t just for safety, but also so your pool enclosure will endure over time. Ignoring these rules could spell serious trouble later on.

I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Deb Frye (a former Jersey Girl just like myself). I had a concrete patio pour w/cage by a contractor and was completely scammed. In my attempt to rectify this horrible situation, I spoke with a gentlemen named Kip from another company who said I absolutely need to speak to Deb Frye and he gave her my number. She called me and spent at least an hour talking me off the ledge and gave me so much information regarding the next steps. She was so kind, knowledgeable and caring. She gave me so many paths and options and provided the names of people she trusted to move forward. I am so grateful that she took time out of her busy day to reach out and try to help. We need more people like Deb Frye in this world. She let me know that everything will eventually work out and I now feel confident she put me on the right path. Thank you Deb! I will reach out soon and let you know how we are progressing. I have read all of her reviews by her customers and I am not surprised that they are all raving reviews. She is 100% in on giving her customers the best and is with you from start to finish. What a gift.

We had rats in the neighborhood. We were going to install a kick plate and chair rail to secure our pool cage. We were not happy with that as we had that installation at our prior home and thought it looked cheap and didn’t hold up well.I googled “best rat barrier for pool cage” and found screenIt in southwest Florida. After several discussions with the owner, exchanging pictures of their solution and getting a quote, we agreed to move forward.Even though I was in NE Florida and there was a 6 hour drive, our installer arrived in less than a week from my initial call. The installation took about 8 hours and was flawless. No mess or unexpected issues. We are so happy with the end product and would highly recommend screenIt. See photos below.
